Oppenheimer hires Guy Logan as head of infrastructure

Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. has hired public finance veteran Guy Logan as managing director, head of infrastructure and the mid-Atlantic region.

Logan will report to Beth Coolidge, managing director and head of public finance, who has been assembling a team since joining the firm in January 2024. The hire “marks another step in Oppenheimer’s ongoing effort to build one of the industry’s leading public finance platforms,” the firm said in a press release. 

“Guy is an accomplished and highly respected professional whose leadership and experience will make an immediate impact on our growing public finance platform,” Coolidge said in a statement. “He has earned the trust of issuers and colleagues alike through decades of collaboration, innovation, and results. His addition is another major step forward as we continue expanding one of the most dynamic and capable public finance teams in the industry.”

Logan most recently was a senior investment banker at Raymond James for just over three years. Before that he was at Citigroup Global Markets for 26 years. He has served as senior or lead banker on more than 250 transactions totaling over $55 billion across several sectors, Oppenheimer said.
