His colleagues valued his knowledge and expertise in the industry.
“Ted was the true definition of a great partner,” Jamie Iselin, head of municipal fixed income at Neuberger Berman, said of his friend and long time colleague.
“He built strong relationships internally with our client coverage teams, so they had the support they needed out in the field,” he said. “His external clients greatly valued his experience and market knowledge.
“They always knew that they could reach out to him when markets got choppy, and he would calm their nerves,” he added.
Iselin said Vogel was always willing to share his knowledge with him and the rest of the team to make them better.
“He was a kind and compassionate colleague, a good friend, and an all-around true gentleman,” Iselin said. “Above all, he loved his three daughters and was always proudest when talking about them. We will miss him greatly.”
